I am reporting on our latest session (which was earlier this morning). Thanks to everyone who came and played; it was a long but good rehearsal! For those of you who missed, here's what happened:
- We rehearsed these pieces:
- Academic Festival Overture
- West Side Story Medley: This was intense, time to woodshed!
- Bohemian Rhapsody
- Nimrod
- Choeur Danse
- Nachtgesang im Walde
- El Capitan
- We chose small group ensembles (Nachtgesang, Nimrod and Choeur Danse). For those of you who were not at rehearsal, we assigned you parts; please check your email to see which piece and part you are playing, so that we can get you music/adjust the part assignments so that everyone is happy!
